Inspired by soft unstructured woven basketry and the human form, artist Nicole Helen Brunner created the terra cotta Weaver sculpture that yearns to make the viewer question what they are looking at. After firing Nicole coats this piece in layers of lime wash, which once dry she lightly sands away and then rolls the piece in freshly cut grass to create a deep weathered appearance.
